Aquest treball presenta una aproximació a l'estudi del raonament moral prosocial i de les variables que infl ueixen en el seu desenvolupament. L'objectiu principal és determinar en quina mesura la variable sexe i la variable edat infl ueixen en el raonament moral prosocial dels adolescents. L'estudi es realitza amb una mostra d'estudiants de secundària (n=114), homes i dones. Moral reasoning and moral conflict in patients of the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis – Frontotemporal dementia spectrum

The aim of this study was to investigate the moral reasoning and moral conflict in patients of the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis – frontotemporal dementia (ALSFTD) spectrum. Ten ALS patients without cognitive impairment, 10 ALS patients with cognitive or behavioral impairment, 10 ALSFTD patients and 23 controls were examined with neuropsychological and behavioral tests as well as with a set of eight well -designed moral dilemmas. Abstract There is debate regarding the roles of sociomoral cognitions and emotions in understanding moral development. The short-term longitudinal relations among perspective taking, sympathy, prosocial moral reasoning, prosocial behaviors and aggression in adolescents were examined. Participants were 489 students ( M age = 12.28 years, SD = .48; 232 boys) in public and private schools from predominantly middle class families in Valencia, Spain. Unauthorized copying of software and levels of moral development: a literature analysis and its implications for research and practice

. Several approaches for and against the unauthorized copying of software have been proposed. These approaches can be divided into two categories: moral reasoning and solution. These categories of approaches to unauthorized copying of software are scrutinized in the light of Kohlberg's theory of Cognitive Moral Development. The results suggest that most approaches presenting solutions to unauthorized copying of software have focused attention on the lower levels of moral development, while approaches at the highest stage are few and far between. No single approach covers all the stages of moral development. The implications of this analysis for practice and research are discussed.
The Structure and Correlates of a Measure of Prosocial Moral Reasoning in Adolescents from Spain

Examined the structure and correlates of a measure of prosocial moral reasoning in a sample of young and middle-aged adolescents. 1556 students (53% male, M age = 13.12, SD = .87) from Valencia, Spain completed paper-and-pencil measures of prosocial moral reasoning (PROM), empathy, prosocial behaviors, and aggression. As expected, a series of confirmatory factor and structural equation modeling analyses revealed a four-factor solution of the PROM to have the best fit (as compared to alternative models) among Spanish youth (across gender and grade). Moral Neuroeducation from a Phylogenetic, Ontogenetic and Functional Perspective

The aim of this chapter is to consider a series of key contributions to moral neuroeducation from a threefold phylogenetic, ontogenetic and functional perspective. I will argue that an individual’s transition from social to moral behaviour occurs through the concurrence of certain faculties with a specific degree of complexity. With regard to both phylogenesis and ontogenesis, certain kinds of prosocial behaviours become moral in certain specific conditions. The study of these conditions reveals which faculties are involved in moral behaviour, how they do so, and how they relate to one another. Abstract Since Carol Gilligan (1982) presented her conception of “two morals”, several empirical studies have been carried out to verify her assumption that the moral reasoning of men and women generally follows different principles. These research findings led to an examination of gender-specific traits in a sample of insurance apprentices.
